“Aspen Serenity” was serendipitously captured at Owl Creek Pass in Colorado. While driving through marvelous aspen groves around 10,000 feet of elevation, we saw a cloud drifting into the forest immediately below us. I was only able to make a half dozen images before the cloud dissipated. But that cloud provided lovely, diffused light and softened the background so as to emphasize the foreground trees and colorful ground cover.
